Axial rr10

.... add a fuelcell and a spare tyre and your halfway there!

So your not selling, huh?[emoji6]
No not selling anymore, got some new inspiration with the anouncement of the rr10 bomber.

Also liked to see your wraith go fast, so definitely put a Tekin ROC 412 3100 in it for sure now.

oh edit.. a bit late response.. this thread goes fast.. even my Tapatalk app couldn't keep up, so i didnt noticed this tread continued for a few pages already.

I think Harley touched on this in his latest blog on YouTube that this was a "medium" compound

Does anybody know if it would be possible to use the axial wraith interior instead of the ones made in lexan?? It would be an easy fit? I like to use different and "real" drivers instead of the ones used in all the RR10.

Looking at the depth of the Dash in this car and the shape of the cowl bar, I would say it will take more than just dropping it in. Also, with the position of the motor and the size of the transmission in this car, I would think it would be very difficult to make it fit.

My guess is that you'll have to build something custom.

Relative noob here so take it easy on me. I was just about ready to finally buy a Wraith Spawn Kit to build up for crawling and trail running when the RR10 was announced. Obviously a major change between the two is the new trailing arm suspension on the RR10 which I had always thought was used more for high speed off-road work. However I did some research on RCCrawler and it seems there is some mixed opinion on this, which leads me to my question:

If all else was equal (and I know it's not between the Wraith and RR10) would a traditional 4-link Wraith style suspension or the RR10 trailing arm suspension be better for crawling and trail runs, (i.e. nothing high speed)?

If you didn't want to do anything high speed, honestly a traditional shock-on-axle would likely be a better choice. I say that if for the only reason of a traditional setup being much easier to tune and it not needing a sway bar. That being said, I think this truck will still be a blast just going slow still.

:ror: Actually, my wife did tell me to go ahead and get an RR10. She knows I need a stress reliever to stay sane after a week of babysitting 55 year old babies.

When will the RR10 get its own fourm on crawler? I know others had one before the truck was out.

We don't need one yet. This thread has slowed way down. I think we're all tired of speculating and wondering. We need this rc in our hands.

I noticed the Yeti Score arrived on schedule. I hope that is a good omen for the RR10. Knowing my luck, since I preordered, all y'all are probably going to have to wait until mid January to get the RR10.
