backing color for tamiya bright red

hi i was wanting to know what backing color i should use to make the bright red stand out more i have some backing black and i have some spirit white paint will one of those work. well any advice will help thanks

White will make it brigter and black will make it a bit darker, your choice.

Good choice.

I painted mine a metallic copper colour..... and i used black backing as that was all i had.....

My Wraith is metallic brown now.

There is simply no icon on here to express how awesome i feel about driving a metallic brown Wraith......

yea wanted to but just got lazy lol and i needed the body to get back on the trails i will do it next time for sure thanks for the suggestion.

i was thinking it was painting black trim around the windows but i might be wrong.

Basically just a trim around the windows to separate the clear window from the main color,
alternatively, smoking or tinting the windows looks pretty slick too

Don't feel bad - painted a body mustard yellow, backed with gunmetal gray.

The end result looked like the digested result of a baby eating yellow squash.
