yep, Chad is here, nothing too impressive in 2.2 in awhile but his Super class game is very good. "thumbsup" I see Chad coming on strong once he gets his GC-1 dialed in, the guy can drive.

You have to admit a 2.2 Clod is a very dated rig compared to what is out there now and were we are in the 2.2 class as of this year. The Clod 2.2 is just too big and heavy for today's standards is my opinion.


Back to the Badland 2.2's. I have messed with that tread design and really liked it. The draw back was I did a hybrid off an 1/8th scale tire and it was a little too short of a tire. I see good things with this new tire."thumbsup"

The only draw back to the Maxx sized Badlands was the XTR compound. It was a bit too firm for crawling, unless you used a really heavy truck and it was a warm day. The M2 will be much better for the lighter 2.2 rigs and on slick rock and boulders.

It's good to see all the possitive feedback. Typically, with many proline products, you see a lot of love and hate. Personally, I like this tire more than any other Proline tire to date!...................................................................................................................for now.;-)

This is one of Prolines old buggy tires. Kinda looks like the Losi claws.
Oh...maybe that is where they stole the idea.:lol:;-)

That wasn't a horse. It was a spray painted donkey and I had no idea they bit so hard.

you people boasting about all the dam newbs wanting bigger tires are stupid need to realize there are other things going on outside your realm.

i know your gonna look at my post count and blow this off, but where i am from rocks dont even exist. they have to be hauled in. so they are nothing but big chunks of broken rock. not everyone is crawling on these giant rock slabs that you need to be sucked to the ground to keep from sliding off your line of flipping down a mountain.

some people actually benefit from ground clearance and one of your low riding small tires rigs wouldnt be able to follow in lots of different areas.

i got into real rockcrawling way before this rc stuff and the guys out west and up north have a totally different terrain where just like you need the lowest COG, and everything is made as small and tight as possible for these competitions. well the few different places i drive to go riding, you need a rig with some decent clearance and dont have to worry about being way up on a slab of rock the size of a parking lot driving sideways at a 50* angle.

if i lived out there then i would have something more along the lines of a moon buggy.
bigger tires help us to a certain extent. dont just think that your opinion blows everyone on this forum outta the water.
