Now that you've got the 7950, you might want to upgrade from the plastic steering rods. You won't get all the benefit of that servo with plastic rods.

I like my 7954sh, but it was acting up after taking a plunge in a stream this weekend. I opened the case and sprayed it out with motor cleaner, so hopefully it's better.

Is that a good idea with all the bashing I do? We foff a lot and we roll and tumble as much as we are on our wheels sometimes lol

Great choice on the servo. I understand your concern with wanting to run the flimsy tie rod as a buffer for the servo but that also makes having a top notch servo kind of pointless. Maybe get a quality servo saver and runs solid tie rod like the VP titanium.

A good tip that I learned after countless packs on my Wraith that used to run a Crawlmaster 16T on 3s with ridiculous high speed gearing is that even upgrading the knuckles/servo horn/tie rod/c hubs what I failed to see was upgrading the actual plastic servo holder where the 4 phillips head screws go. You have 2 options upgrade that to aluminum but the plate will still not be super bomb proof secure or run a CMS with a pan hard removing one of the front upper links. Which eventually will put more stress on of course your upper Wraith bumper supports.

Other option I ended up doing was just using a tad of CA while threading the stock plastic servo holders in place. Then took a paint brush and dabbed around the servo holder. 10 packs of 1850mah 3s 45C still as snug as day one!

The savox has clearance issues on my wraith. Works, but pesky. I would look into something other than savox next time.

Not sure why the savor would have clearance issue's. As far as I know and I could be wrong but I think it's the same size as the hitech.

I thought the savor 1280 might be bigger but fit with a little clearancing.

I run a savor 1268 on 5.7volts and love it.
