Black Label Crawlers "Chopper" MOA LCC Build!

im running 7t pullers in my moa losi, with the stock eritex gearing and its got some speed to it with 3s,youd prob. like it, its a little slower than i like but i like em real fast for that just in case  i am on the second batch for the regear so im sure that will knock a little wheelspeed off but if i can extend batt run times im fine with that 8)

You could go with a 15t or 16t and probably be real close to having the same wheelspeed. But your run times will be greatly improoved..

Oh I know. I've had every puller John makes"thumbsup" Trying to find some 5T pullers now. I have 7's and 10's and some 500's.

Man....What don't you have Kenny...:-P

Yah I am VERY happy with the performance of the 14t's..My rig just flat out works so much better now.No stalling,no heat,no issues at all..I love it.It's good to have option on pinions though..

This is 14t on 11.1v right? Did you try 12t and what was the result?

I'm planning to run 4s on mine with 35t motors, as I run 4s on my axial, so you think 12t pinions would be better with extra voltage?

Yah I am running the 14t on 3s packs..I tried a 12t and it slowed wheelspeed a bit more than I wanted.

Once I get my 4s pack I will doing some more testing with that set up with different pinions.I would say that 12 is a good starting point for most people..Then if the wheelspeed is to slow for you, just bump it up a couple teeth on the pinion..

Shafty Shafty I need a chassis Please I wish some more of the custom builders would make some sick chassis for the shafty.

Most of the vendors will probably say that there isn't much need to change something that works well already..The stock chassis is a very good chassis. All the geometry is damn near perfect.Hard to compete with that and come with a new innovative design at the same time.

I am gonna be working on one soon that will work for the shafty though..It's just not a main focus of mine right now..

It won't be a BLC Chopper style chassis as driveline issues would be huge.
Something like a longer and wider BLC Special K chassis if you have seen that one..If you havent the Special K look for ROSS's build in this section.

ARE YOU PUMPED? ARE YOU EXCITED? That 4pk is sweeet. Way too sweeeeet for my pwallet at the moment, though. Fortunately I have yours to steal.

You can also get a wedge from Futaba. It will put the wheel at an agle to the radio. I have mine set so the drop down goes forward a little bit and the wedges angles it in towards the trigger slightly. Makes it a lot more comfortable. For me at least.

Well I done a little work on the rig today...

Got started putting electronics back in...I am waiting on my other ESC,new motors, and servo to wrap that up..After seeing what Harley did with his reciever,I did decide to ditch the external antenna and just run the internal to rid myself of the extra wire.I think I am gonna go back on shorten the esc wires also to keep this wiring job as clean as possible.

Also,I decided to go back to running Chisels.I always have liked the chisel, has a great compound, just lacked a little on sidehilling IMO..So I siped them VERY well with my dremel I got for x mas..
