I have been testing my steering link, and it works great. I have drilled out the holes and am now using the the bushings for the steering link. I don't have pics up yet but you'll have to check it out. We were bashing yesterday at our track, I shattered a cvd(v2) ball, atleast 4 different pieces. Somehow the pin survived. Other than that I had no problems with my new steering link.

If you have epa's you can adjust on your radio,back the epa off on your steering servo a bit..Will help keep you from overextending cvd's and causing premature failures.

do you have any close ups of your body mounts and maybe some info?

What I use is a 8-32 1" button head fastner,and drill and tap a hole in my delrin chassis standoffs between the shocks..I also use delrin rod as cut to length body shims to raise or lower body height..I drill and tap those to 8-32 also.I always use a small shim,you can thread it on the fastner and it will hold the fasnter in the body so you dont have to worry about loosing them..

Got some losi aluminum upgrades in the mail today...Started getting those lined out..I did drill them all out to accept 3mm hardware..Still waiting on my v3 cvd's to show up.So with the new knuckles,c's and v3 cvd's I will hopefully killed off cvd problems for good..8)

Made a good triple checking on my wheelbase aswell..I'm all good at 12 3/8"

Saweeet, nice shiny new parts! The knuckles and v3's are a good investment, the body is sick. The body mount seems like more work to take off than 2 body pins. How many threads go into the chassis? I do like the adjustability of the mounts. You do have great designs.

I sure think so also..Hopefully seal the deal on zero cvd failure..

I only have about a 1/4" of thread running into the delrin standoff in the chassis,the fastners in the one picture haven't been cut to fit just yet.
But really,just a couple turns and the body comes off..I can deal with that for not having to replace body clips ever..8)

I got the rig put back together and ran a couple packs through it..I must say I am very pleased with it.It crawls very very well.I think I have it pretty dialed in now.I did jump to 18t pinions now with the 10t pullers and the wheelspeed is about good for me.There is still plenty of torque I know that..V3's are holding up well so far..

nice body mount setup. used to button heads in my oval racing days. like the clean look. might work on something like that myself. using bud's small locking clips with lnc body posts(nice tip eee pee) havent lost one yet.

Well time for some updates...Been getting everything ready to head to Arkansas for the Ark/La/Miss comp on the 13th.

I got me some new Thunder Power 45c lipos in the mail from Krawler Hobbies.I highly recommend Krawler Hobbies!! Jason is an awesome guy to deal with!!

These are some awesome lipos!! One hell of a kick to them!

I was very unhappy with my electronics layout as it was..I had to tear the rig down to get my lipo out of the belly.So I set out to cure the problem,or atleast make it not near as bad.I have a lot more room now with the smaller lipo.

I started by fabing up a delrin tray for the lipo and the reciever to fit low in the belly and got it mounted up.

Then I fabed up another tray for my esc's..This tray I made so it could be folded up to gain access to the lipo.Got it done up and mounted then mounted the esc's.

Here you can see how I fold it up to get the lipo out.

Here is the finished up pic..Overall I am much more happy with my electronics lay out now..I would love to get my esc's lower,but no where to go with them..Oh well,good for now..
