Bob & Doug Mckenzie's King Richard Petty Truck

Awesome job Ernie! That looks amazing!

I love how the air cleaner peaks through the hood! The weathering looks fantastic!

Good lord that looks amazing Ernie! Well done!

Thanks Casey, I surprised myself with this one! (Actually this was the only way I could hide all my painting mistakes) :ror:

OOOOO.....

I have to send you my bodies from now on...if you can do that to lexan...just think what you could do with a hard body.

Amazing weathering Ernie "thumbsup"

We are close enough, that would be doable! And thanks for the kind words. "thumbsup"

Wow Ernie that came out so good! You nailed it.

Now on to a rear Portal for you??:lmao:

That's just amazing!! Incredible work right there, outstanding!!! I still say your builds are amazing and inspiring!!! thank you!! Keep it up!!!

Glad you like it young man. As I get older painting gets harder for me! 8)

I think the air cleaner is one of my favorite feature of this body. It gives it a pro-comp look. The weathering its self took a couple days to do, but fun!!

Sorry guys, it has been a while! because of some health issues it's hard for me to stay focused on toy truck. ;-) So Zeke and I ordered some SSD orange bead lock rings for the King Richard. Checking to see how the McKenzie are going to like them??

And this is helping me take my mind off of some new challenges.

I stopped painting watercolors over 50 years ago and just recently found how much I missed doing it. A old Lutheran church in the wheat fields of Ione Oregon. "thumbsup""thumbsup"

Thanks for looking,
Ernie

Those bead lock rings look great, but WOW! That’s some serious water color skills Ernie! You’re a talented individual.
