Bobs backyard comp SCRC

I'm sorry to hear about that Jeff, especially the part of your insurance not covering it. Best of luck to your family and little girl in particular!

Well, Looks like I'm out. For a while. We found out yesterday that my little girl needs surgery on her eyes or she could go blind. For some reason her brain is not sending signals to them to work together. The crappy part is that our insurance said they won't cover it. Either way it's getting done. I just gotta come up with 25 grand plus. The last thing I need to do now is waste gas to go have fun with other things way more important.
I really wanted to go to Bob's too to see what his course looks like. Oh well. There will always be next year or the year after.

Wow Jeff, I'm really sorry to hear that, I can't believe the BS with insurance companies screwing people like that. Medical bills are one of the main reasons people in the USA file bankruptcy, it's not right. My little sister was in a bad car accident last year, medical bills exceeding $100,000!? she's 25 years old looking at total financial ruin, ridiculous.

Maybe some other time ,May our prays go with your family , Bob

X2 - may God bless your family.

No kidding, I'm beginning to think Ned Flanders is right about insurance:-(

Thanks guys. We are not throwing in the towel yet. We are just concentrating on getting my daughter fixed. I told them I didn't care how much it cost we are doing it and doing it right. We are tossing around a couple ideas right now with 401k's and equity loans so we should be ok.

It really is pathetic when our insurance doesn't cover a pediatric surgeon in the state of illinois. We are going to be filing apeals and whatever else but the surgeon said they are usually pretty set in their ways but she said she'd work with us. I can't believe we found a nice american doctor who isn't worried about the money either. She said she would help as much as she can.

There are some good doctors out there ya just gotta find em lol

I can give you a ride from Romeoville....

Insurance companies piss me off. Why do they get to pick and choose what they will cover!!!!

Nice!! I have been working off and on today on getting my mud beast going. I am adding a mud deflecting battery tray so I can run a bigger battery. Next is figuring out how to waterproof the MM and install the big honking brushless.

Wow Ced them videos were great.

That was a fanastic event probably the most fun I've had in a long long long time."thumbsup"
