Body Post Mounts for Aftermarket Chassis

I like the idea of using an aftermarket chassis but many come with integral upper shock mounts so a special body post mount is needed. The attached image shows a Brazin ATL with some sort of custom mount and that's the sort of thing I would need.

Stuck over here in Indonesia I'm restricted to eBay, AliExpress, Amazon and a few small vendors who will ship internationally for bits and pieces that I need. Does anyone know where I can get hold of body post mounts?

Ebay shows them available to here as well. They should do the job but as the body posts on eBay are all aluminum as well I'm thinking that 2 sets of each might be an idea in case they don't hold up too well when the inevitable rollovers occur.

Thanks a lot.

You can also cut the tops off SCX10 shock towers and bolt those on the integrated shock towers for body post mounts. The shock towers are probably easier to get than King Heads or KNK mounts.

That might work out better if I can find them. I've been seeing a lot of body post mounts for a HSP which might also work that way as they have a number of holes in them.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Don't forgot the style of mounts used on the Sawback or Komodo - They bypass the shock hoops altogether and bolt straight on to the frame rails.

That's even better than using the SCX10 hoops and they are in stock at Rcmart. Thanks a lot for the tip.

KNK has these - KNKABM001 Team KNK Aluminum Body Mounts (black or silver).

Axial parts tree AX80031 includes plastic versions of the KNK type.

Happy to be of assistance.

My Sawback was the first crawler I bought, and I was fairly surprised once I saw that other crawlers use body posts sprouting from the shock hoops - therefore potentially causing issues if you want to shift the shock hoops over or use other styles, or make your own.
