Boston Crawlers 2016 Outdoor Series

Hey Everyone,

It is getting to be that time of year again, pending some freak last minute blizzard, for us to get out on the rocks again. This year Boston Crawlers will be at it again, hosting 6 events in the greater Boston area. We are also putting on the New England Monster Showdown (Event #2 in May) which has some Killer support from the Vendors that love this hobby and promises to bring in our crawler friends from all around the world (yep it's international).

We will be running a 2.2Mod (formerly pro) class and a 2.2S class for the season.

For all events we will also be supporting a "Run what you Brung" class. This class is open to anyone with any vehicle they want to try to get around on the rocks (2.2, scaler, multi axle, whatever), though please do not bring Nitros to our events. The one catch is if you enter the run what you brung you cannot compete in 2.2S or 2.2P. The idea is to get people out to have some fun getting their rigs through some gates and to get them exposed to some rock crawling without the stress of a very competitive class.

All entrants in the our Outdoor Series will use their highest 4 event scores to determine who the supreme victor is. This allows everyone to miss one or two events without losing their chance at doing well.

As always our events are free to enter, though you will occasionally have to pay for parking. I hope to have some sponsors announced soon so we can give prizes to the days winner and overall series winners.

This years Dates and Locations are as follows. Locations will be filled in soon but this will let you keep the date free at least. If there is a weather problem we usually hold the event the next day (Sunday) so keep that in mind.

Nice! Hopefully I'll make it to the ones near me, would be running scale trucks still though.

I will eventually try an get an xr10 or something, but right now I need the money for 1:1s.

Hey guys, just a few weeks until our first event, who is pumped? The location for the first 3 events is posted up. Let us know what spots you might want to hit up in July, Aug, Sept.

Is this a trail run or dedicated to full on rock crawlers. I'm more in the scaler category I guess.

Hey Michael,

We do more of the comp stuff but we have a run what you brung and If you want to give a comp rig a shot someone would be happy to hand you the radio.

If you aren't busy swing on by an event.

Counting the days!
hoping to get out and do some testing.
Looking forward to seeing everyone8).

Looking forward to the showdown. I hope to see a bunch of you at the NENC."thumbsup"

July event moved to the 9th so it is not the same weekend as NENC, come the weekend before and get your trucks dialed in.

Hoping to try and get there with my scale trucks in July!
