bradenton area

get the word out.. on here or create a small club.. or get a sticker shop to make some stickers up .. get a domain for a website/forum like i dd for Jax.. we got 5 people for now that are in it. I created First Coast Bashers for the purpose of getting more people to show up not for just cars but boats/planes/choppers/onroad/offroad etc..
its not popular yet but i ll get some stickers made for my truck and my wifes car, get the word out one way or an other.. like BTC says.. Build it adn they will come. lol

Well, it shouldn't be that hard to get a club or group started if there are people interested in the hobby in this area. Bradenton and Sarasota are heavily populated by seniors that would rather fly airplanes, sail sailboats, or play golf. We can't seem to keep a hobby shop in business for more than a few years in a row. Our local hobby shop is closing in a few months. Bradenton doesn't have any sponsored off road tracks to race on. I've tried to get some exposure for the scale crawling hobby and it seems like the best location has been at the beach. So I think I will be creating an interest by showing off scale trucks with working lights and scale accessories making scale maneuvers. I will make more videos for you tube too.

I may go check out the trail on Saturday. I have a new crawler to test anyway. I bought a gas leaf blower that we can use at GT Bray to clear the trail of leaves and dry sand to get better traction!

Lol I was digging the jungle music.lol. I need to get me a scaler. Cool video. Where's part deux?

Anyone interested in some scale crawling or trail riding today? I have 4 rigs ready to roll. You can use one of mine if you don't have one.

I spent about 4 hrs down at the ditch working with huge rocks in about 6-8" of water. Built a nice wide, stable rock path across the water for us to get to the other side without getting our feet wet. Even though water is able to pass between the rocks now, once we get another heavy rain it will turn into a dam and water will be flowing over the top of it.

prepped the honcho but maybe i ll bring the Gmade.. its not water proof at all.. but when i put the 2.2 Swampers on it.. its got a rugged look to it.
Trimmed the side panels and will be adding weights soon.. (on order for thursday)

Things have been rather quiet here for crawling so I think I will get back to building until there is some interest in the local area.
