I finally got some free time today so I decided to go out for a run with my truck and 10 mins into the trail my front drive shaft broke. I kinda knew that its going to give out sooner or later so now I just have to buy a good one. What do you guys recommend for a new drive shaft?

Here's some pics from today's run before the shaft broke

Well I guess they work the same. But appear more Bling:lmao:
Can't go wrong with MIP though."thumbsup"

i would go with mip. i'm running a titan 12t in my truck and it has a good amount of power and i broke the stock ones fairly quick doing some fake truck pulls (tying truck to a fishing pole and seeing if it can pull line with the drag all the way tight) then i bought a set of gmade shafts and they were worse then the factory ones and broke really quick. then i upgraded to the MIP shaft mentioned above without any problems. they are awesome shafts

man i broke my shafts a day after i completed my honcho kit. its a bummer. the mips are sold out so i end up getting stock axial ones and they been ok so far...

Mip makes awesome top quality parts I have used for years. The ax10\scx10 driveshafts are no exception. Bombproof steel. U will know the second u hold them in your hand that they are worth every cent

wich MIP driveshaft is the right one for the honcho kit version wheelbase ?
no DIG.
the wheelbase of the honcho kit is 12,3 inch I think

If you're looking to save some money, the Traxxas driveshafts (p/n 1953 I think) are a good plastic replacement and come with 6 per pack for the same price as 2 axial driveshafts. And I've been told they're stronger.

just throwing this out there, I took some threaded rod and put it in the hollow part of the input shaft on the drive shaft, it will add ridgity to the axles. untill you can get better ones. it basically helps keep the plastic from flexing. I alos used this same method with Jato axles it has worked some far and I have a vxl setup on my ride.
