Broken gears before I even made it outside to try out my XR10

Age dosent mean anything as far as experiance goes .I have only 10 years in as auto mechanic and I can run circles around many veteran mechanics that I know. So yeah there might be a 18 year old that can build better than anyone on this forum. So stfu about "kids".

My 2 cents.

Maybe Axial should add to XR10 packaging and advertising under the Required field: Transmitter, electronics, Tires, battery, charger, and upgraded bearings (because the ones we provided you in the kit are crap and will break sooner or later) Then everyone buying new xr10's will know exactly what there up against. People won't be able to bitch then.:flipoff: I have one myself and broke a final gear in the first 20 mins. Called Axail recieved my new gears (will get to the 9mm mod some day when I have time:oops:) and I'am on my way. Wasn't happy about it, but...... Just some acknolgment from axail would be nice."thumbsup"

Show me the builds??

The kid already said he didn't own a XR10 & didnt want one. If you want to follow his lead on somethng he only has a "opinion" on.

Again show me the builds?? :flipoff:

well ive got some shiny new bushings from our favorite ninja crawling company..........im not gonna use them.......pm

It's not the "profiting" that bothers me. Back when you had to "make your own" it was guys doing things by trial and error, trying many things to make their truck work better. Now any idiot with $250 can get a ready made crawler, and most complain when they have to do some modifications to make it work better. Basically it pussified the hobby of crawling.
So building a few custom parts makes you feel Macho? Damn those people for producing parts and stealing your man card!

Amazing how people have no issue bending over and grabbing their ankles just because is Axial, hell, some seem to enjoy it and recommend it!:lmao:

LOL

We're not defending Axial. Every one has acknowledged the design failure.

But by going out and taking the initiative to find the means fix it our selves,

and call those who have nothing to add but bitch, whiners,

we are Axial nut riders?

You the Violater ETC all keep calling us nut riders. simply because we are sticking with our rigs?

With the holidays around the corner, I really like pumpkin pie. "thumbsup"

It was meant to be a funny comment, I understand that every kit has its limits. I personally bought one but never put it together(traded it here in the forum), not because I doubt its capabilities but because I was uncomfortable with Axial's reluctancy to address the issue(other than shipping the same faulty parts). Maybe if they eventually address the issue, I will get one. For now, I will stick to my "old technology" Berg!

PS, I do enjoy the back and forth arguments between the "haters and Lovers"!

lol thats been my train of thought....ok its kinda janky from the factory....but it works so f-in good once you get the details ironed out....ide rather fix something that has a couple of flaws but works great then to just give up on it.....

Kids prolly a pile . I was just saying some kid I know flys a heli like its nobodys buisness. So no need to pull the age card . Axial should have had a bunch of kids beat the hell out these things for testing .bet they would have found and fixed the probem before shipping:evil:

just wanted to say i've been giving my xr10 hell lately, the fragile driving has gone away and im driving it like my berg, almost trying to get my gears or bearings to fail, still going strong. :flipoff:

i have to add my .02. i have been reading all the posts about "bearing failure" and i have to say its been played out.

all of us know just from a little reading the bearings are bad. we all know the solution to it. so you know what your getting into when you get an xr10. i ordered my bearings before i even got my kit becasue i knew they needed to be upgraded.

all i have to say is...losi comp crawler....i went through all 4 versions of the cvd's. heat issues, gears machined the wrong direction..blah blah blah...its turned out to be a pretty good rig from a very reputable company, but it had its issues.

i am sure Axial is addressing the issue. i am sure there will be a fix. new gears would be great, new bearings would be great, but whatever it is...it will happen. 6 months from now this thread will be buried and untouched because if all the fantastical coolness that will come.

reading these posts are more fun then an amish rake fight :flipoff:...so keep em coming.

can't wait for the VP stuff to get finished

You forgot to add a computer so that they can read hundreds of different threads on the gears and bearing failures :flipoff:
