Building a TK Leafer SWB for RC4WD Blazer

Will work on rear shock mounts, repositioning the Servo Mount, and will have to order a longer servo horn. Need about 1 3/4 in horn to make this work.

Got the rear shocks sorted out. Reworked the front leaf mounts to work better with the new servo mount setup. few things left to do to secure it all in place, then on to front shock mounts.

Ordered a 1.75 in servo horn. need the additional length for the steering link to have a better and more usable angle and position in relation to the BTA setup.

Should be here by weeks end I hope. Would like to wrap up the chassis on this one also, leaving just the body work on both builds to do.

That will be the majority of this rigs work even with all the reconfiguring and modding needed to move to 11.5 wb and become a leafer. heh.

More as it happens.

still waiting on the servo horn. should be any time.
Meanwhile, Been playing around with the front end/leafs and front shock mounting options. After a few more set ups, I think I may have it sorted. Will need the servo arm to get the steering set, to be sure the shock mount locations will not be in the way. The BTA Steering was much easier than it seemed it would. Yes the geometry is a bit off from stock but leaf springs already did that. heh.

More later.

I got to a point and got busy. Then shelved it for a bit. Ended up trading it for my Ryft last summer.
Thinking I am going to try to search it down. I doubt it was traded away too far. Hopefully."
Should have not traded it out and just bought the Ryft like I was going to do originally.
