I am currently building 2 of these but this will only go over one of them. The other truck is a raw builders kit with an orange pre painted blazer body.
This truck is a bit more complicated and won’t stay stock. Similar to the other one this truck began life as a rbk but i also picked up a set of vanquish 12 inch links (only to realize that they are useless) and a set of clear anodized f9 housings. Also this truck is going to be running the 2 speed capable trans. When I built the truck yesterday it was with knowing that I’d have to take the trans and front axle apart the next day.
The body mounts are from Mod19rc on shapeways and its running a savox 2290 with a vp horn
Here it is after the first day was done. It’s sitting on ssd 1.55 wheels with 1.55 growlers. Personally I think they are way to tall for this
Yesterday a vp motor plate, vp transfer case and vp knuckles came in. So the transmission and front axle came back out and came apart for the parts to be installed and I also put the parts in that I didn’t the day before. I also installed a castle slate motor that I had laying around, but forgot the kv.
Then I tested another set of wheels and tires I already have but are for another rig. Ssd 1.55s, with pit bull braved berserkers
I think we have a winner!
After that I took the body off and sprayed it, the hood and tail gate with testors lime ice. The cap will either be candy black or semi gloss black
