Well Wrecker And I are getting together on this project, but we have some high hopes. First off it has to stand up to me beating the pee pee out of it and had to look and perform like a dream! Wrecker has some mad solid works skills and this is what we are thinkin so far, gone through a couple stages of design so far, But I think we are looking at a 14" wheel base and 11.5 wide. Also getting a castle 5700 motor (yeah its gonna go real fast). Plus going to throw some built axial axles and a track bar in the rear and four link the front."thumbsup" Oh and its getting rock stompers and the rpm crawlers wheels. This whole rig is getting mig welded so it should hold up. Enjoy

that looks cool, cant wait to see it for real. what tranny are you using:?:

It will be using an axial tranny. It will be mounted all the way in the back though just like the real rig. There will be a complete interior too.8)

It will be made from 3/16" solid rod mig'ed together, so it should definitely be able to hold up to the abuse of Ty launching off cliffs and jumps.

Also, currently the above design has been tweaked again so the front shock mounts resemble the 1:1 a lot better. I'll try and get a pic up of that later today.

Shannon and Nick are good friends of mine

looks good, can't wait to see the finished product

Holy Shit:shock: subscribed"thumbsup" I have loved that buggy ever since jason showed me the you tube video of Shannons rig at moab, sounded like a F-1 racer:shock: absoulutely sick.;-)

Dam, and that is exactly what I was working on for my RR. On to the next idea.

Yeah this thing should be amazing, Im in the process of getting a v8, bucket seat and some steering just to give it the right touch"thumbsup"
Any ideas you guys have let me know.

Thanks
Ty

Sick work"thumbsup"

Saweeeeet..........."thumbsup"

Thanks guys!

:shock:Nice work Richard:shock: Those tires look perfect with the moon buggy frame.
What did the wheelbase end up at?

Thanks Scott.
That is mocked up at a 14" wb. Ty wanted it long and low and with the MM 5700 the little extra wb will definitly help keep it more stable at 40 mph.:lol:

This is going to look way sick."thumbsup"

Thanks!

Thats right, Im seeing some glory, But you know what is going to end up happening?? Your going to make have to drive out Junction. Damn you!

Discussion time.

Is that modeled after Campbell's KOH boggy? or is it a different one? It looks alot like the KOH, which is an incredibly cool rig. Plus it performs as good as it looks. Cant wait to see this one built!"thumbsup"

That's what the doctor ordered.

It's modeled after his 07 Rock Racing Buggy."thumbsup"
This thing was getting designed before KOH, so I did know about that one until that weekend. More than likely this will be getting one of those Desert style light bars that Campbells KOH buggy has though.8)
