Campbell IFS Buggy

Steering problems

This is going to ware out quickly and jam all the time. Try a worm drive it's EZ to keep clean, better to scale, stronger, simple and you will thank me for saving you time of redoing it.

I leave the scale section for two weeks and miss so much. You are a very talented builder! Am I right in guessing that you build a lot of static models? You seem like you would?

That rack and pinion is different for sure. I too would be curious about speed. Who cares if it si slow though as it is original and cool.

Keep it comin.

Oh, that Chevy truggy is amazing!!!

Thank you!

I am enjoying the build that I can do. "thumbsup"
And, I plan to try some as for the steering setup.

Yes.
The foreign body invades the gear without the cover...
Worm gear is a good idea.
It will try next time when the current setup fails.
We wish to express our gratitude to you who gave information.

Thank you. "thumbsup"

VERY NICE !!!!!"thumbsup"
i also love this rig! been plannin a build of this in 1/10 but didnt find the front axle parts i wanted to use so put it on hold...even considered cheatin and converting it to a 4-link front...
well i was also plannin a 1/6 moonbuggy, a campbell rig of corse!! and just started it when i found the KOH rig well everything changed, got rearranged and put on hold..
.....short story longer........i do that sometimes
decided to build a 1/6...as accurate as i can,(i.e. every tube on the chassis thats visible and hide as much r/c as i can)

It looks awsome!
The scale on which the build is done is different from me.
However, the thing with the person who started the same project is very glad.
keep up the good work."thumbsup"

Thanks!
The axle housing was made with 13mm stainless pipe.
The reinforcement plate etc. are stainless steels, too.
