I gotta agree, this is a RC crawler site, seems to me those who are shakin' the tootie avatars on a site like "RCCRAWLER" got some kinda "thing" going on that only a phyciatric professional could describe.:roll:
I like identifying some people with there avatars, seriously, just cuz it's the internet don't mean you gotta be a freak.
I say lay the smack down on the hoochy mama av's, you don't see mods or vendors being soft porn flingers. Use some common sense.

Being that,I fully undersdtand that I will no matter what,fall short of his glory,and that I'm a sinner.I can see no reason then,not to take full advantage of those things that he has created which I so enjoy,Like a fine ars

Yeah I did change my avatar. But it wasn't a naked Chick or suggestively sexual. The avatar I had up before my logo was an RCC avatar. That was up there for a few weeks.
Now on a business stand point. And this I learned in business school.
sex sells! When your cattering to a group of mainly straight males between the age of 15-55, having a hottie on your thread, logo, website actually does help promote sales. Its not a secret plot. Just fact.

the avatars however are on every thread and every page,but hey,he can turn them off right.
since he has been a member hear for many moons,it could be there wasnt as much flesh,and he just liked it better that way,and doesnt like the growing trend. Guy has a right to his opinion,right.

I fully agree, every person is entitled to their opinion and the right to voice it.
I just find it a little hypocritical that some one can request people to change their avatar to something a bit more PG. Then an hour later post a reply in a thread where guys are showing off photos of their partners where some of the ladies have as much or sometimes less clothing on than some of the Avatars in question.

seeing so much flesh on each page. Its easy enough not to check out of certain threads while the kids are there.I dont check out anything that may be risky while my kids sitting with me,most stuff in chit chat is ok,but certain topics I just stay out of till later.
But honestly,the avatars IMO show no more than what a kid will see on the beach,or a victoria sectret commercial.

I agree, that is close, and while suggestive, she is covering ALL of her rack.
Yes, sex sells but look at the evolution of man, the more we see it the more we push the envelope. In Europe there's way more nudity in advertising and it's accepted, don't know why, but it happens everywhere.
There are a lot of avatars that show racks and backsides that seem as if there's either nothing on them or might not as well be covered.
I am one who views this site with my 12yr old girl. I don't want her dressing like that or having to see them when she's scrolling threads. Even she wants to stop and view comments when she see's a certain persons av. and I'll admit, it makes it nice visually see the AVs and stop you E buds reply to see what's up.
I guess my question to those with the "hottie" AV's would be "why" do you feel that needs to identify you on a RC hobby site? Can't you be just as cool with out it? I think you can.
I'm not gonna devalue your input or expertise, but there are times when I will skip anything you have to say just because I don't want your AV being viewed by who ever's around.
In the end, my Brothers and sisters fought for your freedom of speech, but we also did the same for mine. Do what you feel is best.
