ccw, what do you carry?

I want the M&P shield .40 ^^^^^

For now I have the Smith and Wesson bodyguard .38 special. My wife has the Air weight .38

I would stay away from small calibers, I want something that is going to put someone down not piss them off.

Rossi 357 mag w 2" barrel. I use an in the waist band holster, a shoulder rig in jacket weather and sometimes a fanny pack. My wife carries a Rossi 38 w 2" barrel. She has a variety of female ways to carry, I usually can't even tell. We use +p ammo, hollow point. Don,t want anything like the current story about the perp shot 5 times in the face, 1 time in the neck and was still alive happening here!

For carry the two primary guns are a Glock 32 and Glock 33. Carry the 33 most often because it is smaller. G32 13+1 and G33 9+1 .357sig. Have .40 barrels too but prefer the sig for everything. The sig is also cheaper to reload than .40. Round has a good track record and is designed to be equivelent to the 125gr .357mag load. A lot of parts and magazine interchangeability with the above two models also.

Have to go gun shopping and get your hands on some different guns to try.

Glock 26 with tritium sights. A bit thick though and I have been contemplating something else. I do not carry all of the time though. But it is my go to carry arm.

keltec pf-9 with Iwb holster and spare mag in the pocket

girlfriend has a s&w airwieght 38 spl in her purse

Kel-tec P11, slightly larger than the PF9 but it fits my large hand better and is still easily carried in my pocket or on the hip.

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I carry a Glock 29SF which is a 10mm auto, in a Galco King Tuck IWB holster.
Sometimes I carry a Kimber Pro CDP II which is a .45acp, in a Galco Summer Comfort IWB holster.
For defense rounds I buy stuff from Double Tap, Cor Bon, Buffalo Bore, etc. etc. I like a +p round in my .45.
In my Glock I like a nice hot round as well....most off the shelf stuff is watered down.

For going to the range and poking holes in paper I like to reload, but I do buy ammo when it's on sale so I have fresh brass coming in.

I really want a Milt Sparks VMII for both my carry pistols. Just don't wanna wait 6 months to get one.

Just depends on the day.
Sometimes I carry a fullsized 1911 in 45acp,other days I carry a fullsized 1911 in 9mm,and some I carry my Glock 34.
Im not much on small pistols so i tend to carry one of the above but being a rather big guy there not hard to cover up.
I have been toying around with getting a compact glock to carry.

The small Ruger SP101 revolver in .327 Federal Magnum has a capacity of 6 rounds and good power.

Doubletap firearms
It comes in .45 or 9mm, interchangeable barrels, ported barrel option, titanium or aluminum frame and carries 2 extra bullets in the handle.

Ive been looking at the double tap for at least a year but, only in magazines... Local shops have never had one, half dont even know what Im talking about.

At the gun show last week I was told that the guy that designed it went bankrupt. I was also tole that none of them have been released to sale.

Would not surprise me since it has to have poor accuracy, hurt your hand like hell and is way overpriced. Not to mention two shots with poor accuracy and slow reloads is a bad combo.
