Our Titanium link sets will start shipping tomorrow April 4th.

This thread is simply to take any questions out of the install.
Although installing links is pretty simple, I wanted to give you guys a place to post any questions or use as a reference!

***this link set is designed specifically for the stock axial chassis! it may work with others chassis kits based off the stock axial chassis, but I don't have any for testing purposes***

Now to the fun part!!!

The bling...

We designed these to work with either a stock rod end or a 4mm traxxas revo or jato rod end (jato would need to be trimmed)

For this we will be using the stock axial rod ends for simplicity.

First you must drill your rod ends out with a 9/64" drill bit. ( other similar sizes may work, but I found this onre to be the best for strength and thread engagement)

You will notice that the XR10 has different rod ends!

Our Recommendation/Suggestion of what XR10 Rod Ends to use:

All 4 front links use the same rod ends as stock,
Front uppers use the short ones
Front lowers use the long bent one at the chassis and the long straight one at the axle.

The rears is where you have to change it up a little!
Instead of using all 4 short rod ends on the uppers, you will instead use...
2 long bent and 2 short bent on both the uppers and lowers!
This moves your rear motor up and out of harms way.

Once it's all done you should end up with this!

Been looking for the right links for a little while. I have a FF4 chassis with XR10 axles. So far, I have aluminum links I made out of rod. The Delrin ones I made keep snapping under load. Can you order certain links and not a full set? What are the dimensions from end to end? With my 60/40 chassis, the rear is super long. I am mainly interested in the lower links for now.

Any chance in the future for these link sets to be made for a UGC Viper XR10?

I hate guessing on what length works, on front/back uppers and lowers...a straight forward here is what you need to make it work right link set for UGC Viper would be awesome!

These look awesome, and after seeing the tie-rod....I love what your doing!

Doesn't the viper use stock xr10 link lengths??

At the moment we are selling them as a lower set, an upper set, or a complete set.

I'll get weights later today

Vipers do use stock. If you are into making custom ones lkm. I need to figure out how to clear my esc's on my Viper chassis. They are on the battery mount and I want my links inboard like my rear.

I Weighed the Links tonight. Each Link weighs 9 grams or .3 oz.

The entire set of 8 Links only weighed in at 2.6 oz.

When I used the Axial Stage 3 High-Clearance links, the front was so overly clocked forward that Ive had to cut off 7mm from the top links in the front, and had to ditch the lowers front and rear for CI delrin universals to just get the proper angle front and rear....if you use the stock setup (straight uppers, and the plastic lowers...Im going to guess since they(plastic lowers) were the same length as the aluminium stage 3 ones....you would have the same issues. If someone can show me they are using the chaotic crawlers ti links on a viper chassis, without the over clocking I would gladly buy a set....

Hmm. I had to shorten my links when I went from stock to Viper so I'd be under 12.5".....

I wish I had a viper chassis to test fit them.

Have I shown you guys a pic of my granite countertops yet????

Here you go!
