I have a Vaterra Ascender Kit painted blue with a wheelbase of 302mm and on this page http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/vate...ime-builder-vaterra-ascender-1986-blazer.html and me adding the jeep body for an interior http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/vate...terior-my-vaterra-ascender-blazer-k5-kit.html but now I am going to convert my 302mm to as low as I can go. Using the link reference here http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/vaterra-ascender/512816-ascender-wheel-base-link-reference-guide.html I have used only 61mm and 66mm links and I have changed my rod ends to Traxxas short rod ends and can save 4mm each about so I am down from 278mm to 265 and I think an can I can a few more to get closer to 260mm https://www.amainhobbies.com/traxxas-long-and-short-rod-and-ball-ends-tra1942/p2815 as you can see I have TJ Jeep body and the wheelbase for this is normally 250mm and I am can you change to in the next few weeks. Hopefully for the next comp is 20th Jan.
