I would like to get a cooling fan for my sidewinder but am not having any luck finding one made for it. I don't want to half ass a universal one onto it unless I am forced to, any suggestions?

What is the need? Is the ESC getting hot? I've never felt the need for a fan on any of my Sidewinders and I've never heard of a fan specific for this ESC.

I am putting it in a semi-enclosed space on my tube chassis and I don't want to run the risk of burning up a perfectly good esc because lack of airflow. A fan is cheaper than an esc even if I don't need it.

There is no "made for" fan that I have found. I bought a universal and as it didn't fit well I made an aluminum mount for it and and made it fit.

Unless you are running a lot of power through this ESC or are running a fast motor off of it, you should be good. In the past, I have run Sidewinders inside sealed boxes on my scalers and they performed fine...

Well, it's not a sealed box, three sides will be solid, the biggest side will be completely open, and the top will have vents. So by that and all the advice so far, I'll save my money on the fan and use it elsewhere.

It will be fine dude. My sidewinder runs dual 55t motors at11.1 volts. Get warm to the touch. Not hot, ans mine is behind the battery and in front of a punk dig on my XR10. Not much of any air flow at all. I could see the need if you had a MOA worm gear rig.
