Has anyone noticed an improvement running dual shunt in a crawler?
Ok.. i remember reading somewhere he wasnt a fan of them but wasnt sure why... i should of thought of the hood passing the current:roll::ror:Dual shunt brushes don't do much really, most of the current is carried through the brush hood anyways, as the shunt is rated at like 10 amps max....so even dual is 20......I know Big Jim used to cutoff the second shunt because he hated soldering them.....

I found these from other thread for which motors are good to get:
Holmes 22t, 33t
Crawler Mafia
Other then the Holmes and CM motors which of the following are good to get and rebuild when need be?
Assotiated mini mod in 17,19t
Assotiated (Reedy)mini stump puller
HPI's rs4 modified
Trinity mini cobalts
Also when you epoxy the now re wound motor how do you do that? Do you dip the non comm side for a bit in a small tub of epoxy or pour it over? Is it even worth it at my new beginning of just starting out?
More questions will follow as days go by ;-)

I found the Orion in a dark deep corner of E-bay. Was not even in the Toy and Hobby section. Just dumb luck:ror:Holy hell! That is a good deal! I paid damn near that for the Orion Motor Master alone!
