Divorced Gearbox and Gelande Single Speed

Decided to go with a divorced gearbox, since I wanted a full interior. The Axial trans was just too big so I opted for the Gelande single speed. Only have a few minutes drive time, but so far it's super smooth.

Could you give me a measurement from the steering servo screws (center of the screw) to the end of the output shaft of that trans. And does it have any free play, you know rock back and forth when it sits in neutral. Or is it tight like the axial trans

Hard to get exact measurement, but it is roughly 4 1/4". Here are some additional pictures to give you some perspective.

I had to make the driveshaft from the trans to the gearbox. It's a cut down Wild Boar that I brazen together. That is the shiny bit in the center. Seems to work great. Since both pieces are fixed there is no need for linear movement of the driveshaft.
