I always vote pro 2nd Amendment. Most other issues matter little to me, and the issues that matter to me, I have no control over, big business buys the politicians.
Don't worry about the pro life/choice issue, it's already decided, and it's not going to change.
As far as Obama's energy policies, it's all talk. Money decides policy in this country, and oil is where the money is, so the oil companies decide our energy policies.
I had a discussion with someone the other day and I said that I was unsure which president to vote for since I have to choose between two candidates who split my beliefs on gun control and pro-choice.
He told me I should be more worried about the economy and health care and vote based on that.
Yeah right, I should care more about money and economics than my personal freedoms as an American citizen.
Good post Robb. "thumbsup"
I feel your pain man. Really, I don't like either of them. I'm pro choice and I like some of obama's energy policy, but I prefer Mccain's stance on gun control. It'll probably come down to how much Palin scares me and how likely McCain is to die in office (especially if he gets a second term) It's just a stupid popularity contest really, any of them will just muck the place up more. I have virtually no faith in the american political system.
