anyone here use one of these Dremel rotary tool work station?

thanking of picking one up to do the small jobs a lil easier.

if ya have one let me know what you think of it. it is only 45 bucks a lowes

i have one, the only thing ive really used it for was for siping my tires and it worked great. really comes in handy when you need the dremel to stay still. no complaints from me

I have this Dremel station also, works great"thumbsup" no big projects though
like the person above said, works great, when you want to keep both hands on the project & Dremel stay still. plus it locks into place at 90 degrees for cutting stuff"thumbsup"

I have one. Helps for drilling at 90* for those who are hopeless with their hands, such as myself.

I had one of these, but the very limited drill bit selection for the Dremel made it almost useless. In addition to that, the entire rig was not very sturdy and the few holes I did drill were never 100% accurate like they would be with a full size press.

My advice is to keep the recipt if you do get one so you have the option of returning it.

I had one but my girlfriend took it over for her jewelry business. The handle is misleading since it's really not great for drilling holes in anything metal. I used it mostly as a stand to hold the dremel which kept my hands free.

I have one and agree 100%. the actual drill press part is useless for drilling. The only use i got out of it is hands free grinding and dust collecting.

Harbor freight has an actual drill press for 69$ right now. I'm about to pick on up myself!

Going to pick it up tomorrow. So many uses for this in the RC hobby and at that price I can't pass it up.

X2, Just a hands free device. the drill press part sucks

it would be great if the variable speed had more adjustment. also harbor freight has a compound vice (X,Y) you could use for this rig.

Hmm im gunna have to look into this. wonder how well it would be for cutting out things from a templete if secured down to a work bench.
