Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026

The yeti is begging for a trophy truck body!

I hear ya Fourx I've already got all kinds of TT ideas going thru my twisted brain lol . Was wondering bout specs on the other thread as far as width wheelbase length etc and someone suggested maybe a sc8 body .

Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026

Width would likely be the same as an Exo.....

badger, can we get a wheelbase from ya?

I can't wait to pick one of these up! I was just about to buy a twin hammers but was afraid it was too small for my liking.

...and too fragile. :lmao: I'm hoping the Yeti is higher quality and more durable out of the box.

Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026

I renew my question to Sir Badger. Do we have an estimate of the speed? It looks like the BigSquid guys ran it off road and on road. So presumably there is a fairly good guess on that point?

THANKS!

In the big squid review they say it has a top speed of 32mph. I only drove the Yeti in the dirt, I did not drive it on road at all and I did not bring anything to test the top speed but in the dirt 32mph seems right to me.

Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026

I like this truck, but I also liked the twin hammers before running one. May have to hold off and get one second or third hand down the line.

Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026

I do not associate "Badger" with the ferocious Honey Badger, but with the rather shy and tubby badgers we got overhere.

:lmao:

That's weird that the Netherlands has the same type of badgers that are in California, more specifically northern California. :ror:

Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026

Does anyone know what size SLW hub we need to replace the plastic one?

And more importantly, if the cutting brake will be operational?

Haven't seen anything about a cutting brake...? Can't have a cutting brake with a locked diff anyway.
