Extreme 4x4 S10 Truggy

I Know

I really love that show. I watched that truck build from start to finish. I thought about doing that to my AX10, but I guess you beat me to the punch. Keep us posted on your build. Don't forget to have the green lights under the truck to really set things off."thumbsup"

Looks good. Looks like you and 'ian from xtreme' will have a little build off going on. Except his is going to be on a mrc, if he ever gets aroung to it.

you know how they work start a cool project get every one excited and then back burner it untill the have you wraped around another project.

nice axle. how'd you get that solid axle? looks like delrin ends on a TLT pumpkin.

It's the Tamiya S10 body and I think you can still get em. I've had three of em in my basement for two years. I built a S10 truggy a few years ago & I used them as my comp body before I went to tubers.

Haha weird I use the s10 body for my comp rig to and have another new one for my next comp rig. Also my name is cole as well:lol: also build looks good man.

That is weird. I used to run the S10 body for my comp body also

I re-did the rear cage so it's exactly like the 1:1 & the tube work is pretty much all done.

1:1

I know it's long! I allready shortened it a lil, but I'm a leave the front axle raked out a bit like the 1:1. I have some of the same powder & paint that they used on the 1:1 ordered too. I have another body that I'm going to try and do the hood scoop on. I guess I'll make it out of styrene & then glass it all in and paint it on the outside. Then I'll have 2 bodies. One for go, one for show "thumbsup"

That truck looks Killar!!!!!!! I can't wait to see it in person, hope the powder and paint guys didn't give you much trouble with the match. Let me know if I can help with anything.

If any of you guys watch Extreme 4x4, which I'm sure alot of you do! Well anyway I plan on building the S10 Truggy for my MSD 2.2 rig. This is prolly gonna be a slow build because I have a few going on right now!
I haven't started on the chassis yet, but here's what I have so far:

watch the show almost every weekend, looks great so far

It's perty close, looks good. Now do some little things to it, and make it look even closer to the real thing. Looks like you need to cut up the front a little bit and get the front looking closer to the 1:1, that would help out its looks alot. Looks good so far, keep up the good work! "thumbsup"

Wow, that's a great job on that rig Matt. I can't get over how long the wheelbase is on it. Hope it performs as good as it looks!
