Facepalm facebook fail finds

Water can pool like that?

So I called him out on it, and even rotated the pic to an angle that the water pool and run off makes sense:

Nope... The pool is run off from a river, and the ledge changes, yeah, that explains it :lmao:

Better call NASA; they might not have to go to space to test in zero G environments...

That is some pretty stagnant water to be "flowing" downhill at that angle.

Ask him to take a wider angle picture so we can see this ledge he speaks of.

Me looking at nearly every rig posted here:

I seriously do not understand the need, and desire, to modify* your truck in such a way that you have to be on the defensive about every single thing, all the while not giving any sliver of knowledge on the performance gains done by said mods.

*Modifying usually entails making the product better, not turning into a fail abortion of Integy and shocks...

I'm just glad the handful of groups I'm in are not filled with people like this. Every once in a while one will pop up, but almost everyone sets them straight.

No need for truck beds when we have old cd storage boxes

Music World? Fawk, I haven't heard of that store in 10+ years, I know they went out of business here

Also, is it just me, or do the rear shocks look like they're at different angles at the upper mounts.

The cd crate works more than the baby blue wheels and the drivers door that looks like it was once a South Park set prop...

The work of an engineer....

He says panhards are a "band aid for poor geometry" and that his rig has no bump steer...then goes on to say the Watts link is superior.

WTF, i dont even know how to reply to this.

I would agree the Watts Link does a better job at keeping an axle located. I have a faint memory of someone trying to make one with a TLT axle. They drilled right through the pumpkin. Or I'm just making it up…

The engineer class mustn't have gotten to the part about leverage yet.

I live in fear of finding my toys on here getting laughed at. I know it's going to happen sooner or later. Till then, this is a great thread :lmao:

Maybe that comes in dynamics, even though it's statics
