Facepalm facebook fail finds

Mud trucks need flex! It helps with, um... You know... Uhhh...

If it works for what it's intended to do, then who cares?

The only thing fail about J.j.'s 6 door is that it is not in my stable... There is a lot of work and talent that has gone into him making that, and it's not done yet.

It's a fail because the rig being towed isn't on all 4 wheels.

Well I will wait a little while longer and if its not a fail the I will remove it from the thread.
very much not a fail. thats a couple badass rigs. big deal if he did a poser shot of the mud truck flexing on the trailer. that could totally happen in real life anyway... not that they would tow it but people pose 1:1s all the time. its fun to drive up on something... its what its all about. ;)

fails are guys using 4 savage shocks with screen door return springs, bumpers over bumpers, shocks on shackles for more flex, twin motors on a dingo with a 8000mah lipo... crazy fast brushless motor on a tf2, you know... fails.

i feel if you have the nerve to post what you think is somebody else going full fail on a truck, you should also have the ability to take a beating by fellow members by failing this thread with something that isnt a fail.

Seriously, for the life of me I can't see how anyone in this hobby could see this as a fail!

It's a bad-ass setup that took some serious dedication to get done.
It might have taken more dedication / work than you'd personally put into a rc car project, or it might be over-the-top compared to what you'd do, but never the less *it's done well*.
Stuff done well is imho not a fail.

Oh come on!
A home made 4-link? Custom made chassis-links?
How is that a fail??

On any other part of the forum that would be a win, and people would be asking how he did that.
Hurr, I think I'm not cut out for this thread.... :-/
I'm off and I'll leave you guys to it :D

The fact that it's pipe hanger strap makes it a fail. Sure, there are some items that can be re-purposed for use on a toy truck, even some plumbing supplies. That particular product is not one of them, IMO.

Fail or no, at least they're building shit. Which is a lot more than can be said for quite a few of the finger pointers in this thread.
