FJ K2-3L Scale Build

Hey Dude, this rig looks great! If you are thinking of doing an interior, a LC is fairly easy to make because the dash is flat "thumbsup"All you need is some styrene really. Get yourself a wild willy parts tree (see tips and tricks for part #) and it has a nice long steering column and steering wheel with shifters and even a cool winch and a NOS bottle which everyone has been making into co2 tanks. I would even bet that a set of the Recaro cell phone seats for the seats would look awesome. Either way, keep up the good work 8)

Snow melted in the back yard today and uncovered a burried treasure, one of my kids neglected Tonka Truck showed up only to be sacrificed to the scale gods. I cut the interior out and after about an hour of dremel work I got it in the FJ. Now I can't say its perfect or I even love it but its a start.

I think I will cut out the rear seats and add a full flat bed of some sort.

Damn that looks good Z."thumbsup"Great lookin interior you got there, cant wait to see it this Saturday...

The second row of seats looked dumb so I cut them out. Then I put a lexan sheet in with wheel wells. I'll throw downs some black or maybe carpet on the lexan tomorrow and If I can figure something out maybe a tool box in the back.

I guess its technically my side yard but at least I found some good use for it. My wife hates it because our kid doesn't have a lot of grass to play on but I say trees and dirt beat the he!! out of grass. She is pretty cool though for helping out, and hot too."thumbsup"

Zack, Danik is not going to be happy with you if he finds out your cuting up his tonka toys to steal parts, but your FJ is looking good.

Whoever you are Taco22 if you know Danik you know dang well that kid has so many toys that he won't miss one little tonka truck.

I just took a picture of the FJ with the new super swampers I made. What do you guys think? Do I keep the Moabs on which kick but or go with the Swampers. One or the other is going on the next scale build though.
It makes me laugh that it looks kind of clean considering what it when through at the UTRCRC.com scale comp. I took second with it...dammm you Pinch Flat! JK
