Ford Farm Truck

This truck is just AWESOME! How does the tires perform in the mud?

The tires spin and slip a lot but the 4-wheel drive helps it get through pretty well. The truck will get hung up on the undercarriage and start plowing if it sinks too much. In many cases you can work it. It's fun in the snow too.

This has to be one of the coolest rusty rigs I've seen. This truck is the true definition of scale by far. WELL DONE!

Hey can you tell me how you did the hay in the back?

Thanks!

The hay bales are made from straw glued to a foam block and wrapped with a couple pieces of wire. I snagged one from my daughter's American Girl Doll farm set but they can be made easily enough. I cut the bale in half and glued the halves to the bed so it looks like the tops are a little higher than the sides.

This is my first time reading this thread I started at the beginning. Your work is incredible the detail on that lexan body is just amazing and the fabricating of the chassis and suspension I salute you for all of that and wish I had the patience to even attempt much of what you've made look easy, and on your first build! "thumbsup"

The dirty windshield, hay bales, and rusty dent above the front window are totally where it is at. You made a lexan scaler body look better than the molded body scale rigs I have seen. The mudshots looked real.

great truck man, im fixing to start build a ol' farm truck to im taking a dodge ram charger and making it into a ram 90' model just like mine. i also bought the sophisticated antiquing solution both bottles the rust stuff and the metal stuff u put down first, i tried it and wow its awesome, i cant believe the stuff rusts up like that and you did a awesome job with the rust holes great work "thumbsup"

Man that is a really scale rig! It looks just like some of the trucks around me

Monty was out playing in the mud instead of getting some field work done.

I showed a friend of mine these pictures and he thought they were pictures of a real truck. Good Job on the truck.
