Futaba 4PL Setup, Tips, Tricks & Help

You can program the front wheels to have 100% while you can adjust the rear wheel speed (in your video tutorial, you made it adjustable in 10% increments), but can you do it the other way? So have the rear spin at 100% while the front is adjustable?

You have the ability to overdrive the rear (above 100%) which is the same thing.

Hey Harley any update on those RX you were suppose to try out to see if they work with the 4PL.

Do you think the range is affected much with that small antenna? I'm definitely getting one of those for use in a crawler, but I wonder if it would be appropriate to use in a car run on a track.

The short little antenna and the way the plugs go it make it a nice little RX. Being 20% cheaper is also great! :ror:

Yes, everything about that RX is perfect, yup just like you said the shape, antena, and were you connect the plugs. And yea the price is perfect lol.

I have not range tested mine but I would imagine you will still get pretty decent range. I would imagine you would still get over a couple hundred feet in a typical car.

That looks to be about the length of my 2.4 aircraft receivers and I can control them at a range where they're just a barely visible point above the horizon. I've never understood why some surface 2.4's have such long antennas.

Channels.

Hi Harley,

Have a question for you regarding steering wheel radio and 6-9 channels is it something that Futaba will sell. It would be very interesting for us Scala Crawler, for example: to run the various accessories on the same control.

thanks ... "thumbsup"
