Futabo 4PL (warning/Quesstion)

So i just purchased a 4pl from CKRC last week and got it on sat. and its got serial #B10301029. From what i have found this is the older one and it needs an update. My understanding is i send it to this place

and tell them i need the upadate and then i get it back all good? Just want to make sure i do this right and dont just send it out to someone that has know idea why i sent it.

Called CKRC about them sending me the old one, they said sorry not our problem. So the warning is CKRC is selling the non update 4PL so dont get it from them or you will have to deal with this crap right off the bat!

I did the same thing and it worked out great. It was less than a week turnaround. They also sent updates on the status of repairs and when it was shipped. Of course I didn't buy from CKRC though. Found a cheaper online store and still got it cheaper including shipping for the upgrade.

Hey guys I just got mine last week and it is a number lower than the OP, Im in Ontario Canada what is there for me to do? We are under a postal strike to have to courier anything out and in, or is this something the store I got it from could help me with?

You should be fine..Read Harleys post. The ones that needed updates started with "B010" or "B011"
Mine starts with 103 and it is the updated version.

You are right, I misread his number, I thought he posted B010 but it was actually B103 so he is good. "thumbsup"
