Generis
Rock Crawler
This offering from GCM is a direct fit for our CrossCanyon scale chassis, but is easy to adapt to just about any axial crawler width frame spacing.
Using a fully machined billet aluminum bracket you can fit your scale chassis for a frame mounted steering servo with ease. The mount is reversible for right or left mounting OR front to rear bias to locate your servo horn in the perfect spot. All units are black anodized and include hardware for mounting.
Shown below is this mount (in silver) using a hitec servo and Axial axles. With the servo mounted above the bracket, the steering shaft angles are nice and clean with this droop setup. Using a sprung setup the servo can be mounted below the bracket and allows a straight steering shaft setup in minutes. This mounting shown below also allows a nice flat section on the front for a bumper/winch mount, as well as making a solid metal front frame section, virtually eliminating all frame flex when steering. It's a brace and a mount in one light unit.
For those who don't know GCM, is a full service 3d cad and CNC shop in Canada, and has been producing and selling RC parts worldwide for years. We also entertain machining jobs for other designers and production for anyone, as well as our own line of crawler and offroad parts. We rotate through our production runs every 4 or 5 weeks, so anything out of stock in the store will be back soon enough. Thanks.
