Good Ol' Discussion

Not at all true, or relevant. The US has lots of guns, but the majority don't carry. We're polite because we're civil and we have laws that we (usually) honor.

That quote comes from a fictional story where literally EVERYONE has a gun and they don't hesitate to use them against anyone that might personally upset them in the slightest. If you behave impolitely, chances are you're going to eat a bullet. That is what that quote means.

The quotes origin isn't the point. I'll use Switzerlandas an example again. The citizens are armed and trained. Most of the uninformed people in the world have little respect for them due to their appearance of weakness due to staying neutral in conflict. In reality they are some hardcore bad assessment that the true bad guys of the world know not to fawk with since they're armed and trained to defeat them.

and sounds like an awful life.

The way I see it, you can continue down the same road and continue to make the same decisions that got you where you are or you can try something new.

That doesn't seem like a very good idea to me... at least not the way it's been handled in the past.
Life (or death) for all offenders using a gun in a crime, punishments for a gun owner if their gun is used in a crime.
Those two might make a small difference.

Perhaps it's time to try something else.
I'd like to see smart gun tech implemented.

I agree a gun crime should have a very stiff punishment like life or death. The only problem with that is our jails and prisons will be full with blacks and Mexicans then people like you will complain were racially profiling blacks and Mexicans.

Murder is illegal yet you live in one of the most crime ridden areas with a very high murder rate. Keep making gun laws that only affect the law abiding citizenry since the criminals don't care and see how that goes.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Sweden has its fair share of terrorist bombings and shootings.

People like me? Please don't pretend to know what I believe... especially when I've wrote it down yet you can't seem to comprehend it.
He grasp for straws A lot.
How about people like you grasp the English language before commenting, ok?

So, as I said... if someone commits a crime with a gun they have earned themselves a place in prison or perhaps the grave, if the crime warrants it. No one should have anything to complain about if they are in there for committing a crime with a gun.

If they are in prison for some petty bs... well, that's another discussion.

When was the last school shooting in sweden? When was the last bombing and systematic murder attack? The place isn't perfect but they get fawked with a whole lot less than the known unarmed countries such as France.

In France you can have a rifle. It has to be locked in a safe and the ammo kept seperate. If someone is breaking into your house and you have time to get your gun, load it and kill them you go to prison for premeditated murder. Known easy soft targets that cannot defend themselves. See a bad guy, call the police and hope they get to you before the criminals.

Yeah people like you bleeding hearts:flipoff:

I'd like to see you work harder S ARR T 8.
I find your grammar appalling, please do something about it.
Have some self respect man!
Pull you're illiterate ass out of the gutter by your boot straps.
You have no one to blame but yourself for your poor English comprehension skills.
Work harder you lazy fawk.

EDIT: Better yet, just go back to your own country. This country is for people who want to work hard and better themselves... not settle and do the minimum to get by.

I was about to apologize for being an ass and confusing the Swiss with the Swedes, but you're doing it too...so....:flipoff::ror:

For the record though: Swedish gun regulations are somewhat more restrictive than ours. Swiss gun regulations are about the same as ours, but require psychological testing and licensing before you can purchase. You also cannot buy or sell guns or major components without registering the transaction.

Mass murder is almost entirely an American phenomenon. The Swiss, when not actively serving, have to keep their service rifles locked up, and they are not given military rounds for them, though they can purchase and store compatible civilian rounds for them.

But they are concerned, they have a pretty fair Muslim population there.

Law abiding citizens are not the ones getting shot in Chicago... they do not have guns, they are not shooting people and they are not getting shot.

Gang bangers with guns, brought in from other places (like IN) are the people doing the shooting... and getting shot.
That's why you never hear about it... no one cares if a few hundred poor black kids kill each other.

And we hear about it every day gets old really. Where have you been just listen to the news Monday morning. I'm sure with the nice weather this weekend there are gonna be a lot more shootings to report in Chiraq.

Fixed to eliminate the libtardedness.

When they themselves don't care why should we:flipoff:

ohh, they care... I'd venture to say that many of the shootings are because they care... a lot.
Revenge, livelihood... even honor... we may not understand the warped value system but it's in place and perpetuating violence.

 Switzerland, Sweden, whatever.

They need to put up a few free shooting ranges in the city so they can practice their shot and quit hitting innocent bystanders.

If they cared they would be better shots and hit their intended target.
