Grand Junction: Bang's Canyon Oct. 18th sponsored by High Desert Raceplace

I really wanted to come out to this event, however my daughter has a Karate tournament that day, so I think I'd rather go watch her knock some boys on their ass;)

There will be no entry fee. The next competition, there will be a fee so we can give prizes away at the end of the points series.

ok cool, gotta know these things as my hobby money is very tight, and if I'm gonna crawl in comp's I'll have to not race or vice versa, cya there. =)

If anyone is coming that owns a hitec servo programmer, please bring it! This servo keeps making all these chirping sounds no matter how much I adjust the epa.

Thanks Matt!!

just wanted to thank matt for taking the initiative to organize the Crawler comp we had today, i think we all had a blast and was great to meet some new people and see some other rigs. It will definitely nto be the last i am sure.
For all who were there, was alot of fun, thanks for coming.
For the denver guys, Sorry the weather did not cooperate, hopefully another time and now that we have had an experience maybe we can consider a trip yoru way at some point.

X2 on this DOC, the turn out for our first official event was tremendous! All told I think 30 guys showed up and competed. Big thanks to Matt for stepping up and running the show. Steven thanks for scoring the whole event, lastly thanks to Andy for being our event sponsor. My truck did not do as well as I would have liked but all in all I'm very impressed with the way these things run.

Pics were taken and should be online somewhere very soon. DOC took tons and I know there were a few other cameras floating around out there.

There Are A Couple Of Spots Between Gateway And Here With Several Different Types Of Terrain And Good Rocks. The Spot I Am Thinking Of Has One Water Crossing. I Saw Most Everyone Had A Truck So Everyone Could Make It. I've Seen And Taken Cars There Too. There Are Some Rocks At The Park Over By Central Highschool That Are Pretty Cool As Well.

If the weather is cold, we might have to push the time back a little bit. Looking forward to seeing you this this Saturday! "thumbsup"

I just saw this comp. I'm down in Durango, so it's a little too short of notice for this time. Any idea on the schedule for more comps (say, from now until the end of the year)?

Thanks and Good Luck to everyone that gets to make it to the comp!"thumbsup"
