 Ask anyone who has meet me at GR before-I always seem to show up late :flipoff: but I'm driving this time so maybe that will make up the diffrence.

BTW I will be at the Hotel on Sunday around 10:30 or so-do you guys still want me to point you in the right direction orrr?

Any chance of giving a more specific address of the event? For Mapquest reasons.

The Motel 6 is 5 hours and 16 minutes away form me!

Just my 2 cents, but based on the 9 drivers at SFR3 starting at 11:00 running till dark. We need to start at 11:00 sharp! If not a little sooner!

We were a little slack at the beginning, but we tighten up as the day went on. We will also have an extra hour of daylight, so that will help.

If 15 or less drivers show up we will be fine running 1 at a time.

If more than 15 show up I think we will have to have 2 drivers on the course at a time! (Next driver starting after previous driver reaches a half way point)

Again just my 2 cents!

well whatever you guys do, have fun...

Colton(my son) went to a friends house last night and had some type of allergic reation. not sure what caused it, but he eyes are bloodshot red and real itchy. His face is swollen somewhat. Just got back from the dr. and they gave him some shot plus his allergy shot he was due for. so hopefully he gets better :| if he is not feeling better, i will not be comming

Jeremy, I hope Colton feels better. And thanks for the map stuff, but I did that. Those are to the Motel 6 I think, and I was looking more for an approxiamate location of the event. The link on the first page isn't working (or wasn't...).

I think I'm still running a fever occasionally, and rain, and a damn far drive...I'm still a "maybe".

Just do a mapquest for Rochester, KY. Once you're in Rochester you can't miss it. ;)

I hope everyone is feeling well and able to make it to the event. I was looking forward to meeting everyone. This will be the largest R/C crawling event ever held in the USA if we all show up! Remember, Jason will be there so there's a real good chance you'll see your rig in a upcoming issue of RCDriver..... if that doesn't get you there I don't know what will!

yeah when your on 231 instead of taking that bend to go to the motel, you would bear off to the right which would be route 70 ;-) follow it all the way down and youll see the area after the dam

Man, like this event needed more bad news...

I went to the Dr earlier this week for my left leg...the one I fell on at SFR3. Military doctors are weird...they do Xrays then, for some odd reason, it takes 2 or 3 days for them to get back with you on the Xray results.

I got a call this morning saying that there is, indeed, a fracture and he suggested I come in for a cast.

So now I'm hobbing around with a set of those stupid aluminum crutches that click like hell when you use them.

So I seriously doubt I'll go. I just can't see myself out there on the rocks...hobbling around on crutches.

April Fools, fawkers! :flipoff:

See you guys at GR!

We're out for this weekend. Wife is feeling better but my headache is still killing me. Didn't have anything ready to go anyway so I am not scrambling to round stuff up for this trip. Ya'll have fun.

Well, its almost time guys!!! Im leavin here around 10 in the mornin. I work 2nd shift, so it will be like 3 or 4 in the mornin before i get home tonight. It said on the map thinggy it would take 4 hrs, but i think i can make it a lil sooner  See You Guys There!!!!

My post was for real, no April Fools. Wife has indeed not been feeling well but she is doing better and trying some new drugs. Myself, have chronic headaches so that was a true statement as well ;-). However, minutes after my posting that I wasn't going, my cell rings. Guess who........JIA giving me crap as I figured he would :-). So, I have tonite to decide if we'll be making the ride down. Will go ahead and gather up all my gear and see what we feel like in the morning. The F/X truck is ready to roll, good enough at least. Wanted to make some new servo mounts but never got real excited about doing so. Also needed to work on the tranny but that never happened either. Tranny should be fine though. My TXT is as good as it is going to get but doubt we'll compete with it. Dunno if one could run two trucks in a comp. anyway, prolly illegal. Also STILL trying to figure out my damn charger (969 Super Brain Pro) as I feel I am not fully charging me batteries. Guess Jason and the other Crawler guys can assit me in that.
So, as of 1:30PM my time I am going to pack everything up as if we are going. Come Saturday morning, have to see what I feel like. My guess is, my headache (s) will be the least of my worries as far as pain. Reason being, JIA might make a detour to St.Louis to whoop my arse if we don't go :-).
