Harley's TCS X-Trail

You will definetly have to post pictures of this finished up. That has a great stance!

i just threw mine together and im crawling on my floor over spare tires and boxs and its doing great. i have a alum one on my way.

you should desing a eletrinics tray for these, something that will keep the cog low.

I don't think an elec tray is a very high priority. With the many variations of bodies, shocks, and accesories that people are putting on these there is no way to make a tray that will work for everyone. If it won't work for atleast 90% of the people it is kind of a waste.

A tray to mount the electronics on is probably the simplest thing any of us have to do anyway.

You could just use the stock tray. I didn't have to drill any holes either:

More were ordered last week after we realized how great the demand was going to be. A lot higher volume was ordered this time so hopefully we can stay ahead of the orders.

Hey guys, Just thought I would post up that I have been watching this thread (and site) for ages now :D Loads of info to take in... Amazing how much help is already here, all we gotta do is search hahahaha... Anyways I have had my AX-10 for a couple months now, and decided I wanted to make a 2.2 Scaler... So I have just ordered the X-trail chassis from TCS... I was just wondering if you have any ETA when the new batch will be ready :D I wouldn't mind to be one of the first Aussies to have a run with this :D

Cheers ;)

Bruiser leafs in the front, juggy leafs in the rear.

I am trying to figure out mounting blocks for the axles now.

Yeah, I explored the leaf option but the rails don't line up with the stock holes in the axles. It shouldn't be that big of a deal with an offset bracket.

IF you put the springs on the outside of the rails then they line up pretty well. I want to have offset block made up though so that you get more articulation and no interference with larger 2.2 tires at full turn.

I am building a 2.2 and wanted to run leafs in the front but that was the concern with steering clearance. I am definitely interested in an offset block so I can run dampers on the outside of the rail with the leafs under the frame.

I love this frame BTW... modular and lots of options with the stock parts. I have had to fab very little so far.
