Harley's TCS X-Trail

I am kinda wanting the extra over hang I am useing a parma 99 ext cab dodge body and the wheel base is 10.5" and the whole length of the body is almost 17.5" I have tried building my own frame and so far not real happy.

I am getting ready to get my first crawler, and I love what this frame look's like I think I can build a scale looking Jeep to copy my 2005 TJ Rubicon that has long arm suspension, I do have a question, I have a saddle pack li-po battery I plan to use, should I mount them one 1/2 in the front of chassie and the other 1/2 at the rear, or should most all the weight from the battery be located near the front as I see most do?

Well, yesteray I received my chassis and I have to say I am a bit disappointed.

One of the plates has some irregular parts in the surface.

In addition to this, when I put together both plates some of the wholes seem not to match perfectfly, as if both of them were not exactly simetrical.

I´ll try to post some photos tonight if I find the time...

Send Kevin an e-mail when you get a chance. We will get everything taken care of. Something must have happened in manufacturing that wasn't caught.

If there is anything I can personally do just shoot me an e-mail.

I just got my ax-10 and I ordered the X-trail and hardware kit today.

How far into my build instructions can I get? Axles/tranny/shocks? then wait for the chassis?

Build everything except for bolting parts to the ax10 chassis.

Ok thanks. I am going to be running 1.9's so I guess its optional if I want to assemble the wheels as well.

I didn't really have a picture as to how big the 2.2's are until I opened the box. I mean for some reason when I see pictures of crawlers I always expect them to be smaller ;)

Eveyone happy with X-Trail so far? Thinking about building one for some up coming events.

I was thinking about a 55 turn, I just dont want it to fast though,

I ordered a 55t Integy Lathe motor it's what Nickrummy says he often uses and he is one of those crazy NOSTR guys with the indoor crawling area and everything ;) so I trusted him.
