Harley's XR10 #AX50062

Thanks...That is what I was going to try first....

You should send me your shoes off of your ride so I can give them some real
testing......I will pm you my address :ror:

I am assuming that your motors were sent with a little bit of forward timing. My motors were sent at nuetral and I dialed in some of my own in the appropriate direction. So I am making a little bit of an assumption I should also note.

And yes, doesn't everyone want a set of these :ror: And for just 5 easy payments they can be yours.......but wait act fast and we'll drop the last payment!

Yes...The timing is a little forward...One is marked with a F for forward and R for
reverse..Strange that brushed technology would be new to me..I ran brushless
for the last few years....No brain or maintenance required

With them already being preset I may want to double check the geartrain. I am going off what I do on my Berg and can't recall if the gear path is the same, for some reason I think there is one extra gear :?:

I finished up the truck tonight! Everything wired nice and clean 8)

This electronics box is great. I was able to fit my 4PK RX as well as my Castle BEC in there.

Any reason you took the case off of the 4pk rx? Or is the radio box a tight fit for one with the case on?

Surprised you were the first to say something. The RX fits fine but if I want the CC BEC in there than the case has to be removed.

What about that new R614FS Rx? It's a lot smaller than the 604. I just got mine but don't have my kit assembled yet.

Of course I'm running dual HH BR XLs so I probably won't need the Castle BEC.

Josh -

What kind of foams are you running front & back? I picked up two sets of the two-stage Nova foams but I'm not sure if I should run them all around or just up front.

Thanks!

I haven't received my 614 RX's yet. They are smaller and would likely solve my problem. Mine are being delivered at Nationals next week.

I am running stock rover foams with my tuning rings. The soft foam works well with that setup. I run Nova foams int berg with the same setup though. I will test these foams and see what I think. The light weight setup will help.

So what are your thoughts on the plastic uppers? Not sure if you have driven it yet, but my impression while i was screwing in the rod ends was "noodly".

Then the last one I was threading into split wide open down the side . I can see why many are quickly putting on the aluminum uppers.

Your build looks great (like all your stuff). I really dig the skins and the urban shots were neat "thumbsup"

Everythings looking "awesome" Josh. Clean as usual.

If you're off work Monday, I'll look you up in the afternoon for a practice session.

I got an idear or 2 about the steering setup..

New to MOA...so excuse the noob question..
I just purchased the Br00d motors. One is labeled with a R for reverse. What
axle is running in reverse..front or rear...

I run my rear motor reversed.

I was under the impression that the markings on the motors are what location they are supposed to go in. F for front axle & R for rear axle?? It's my understanding that the rear motors' endbell is flipped 180 degrees in the can so that both motors will have red to positive and black to negative.

The plastic feels just like I expected after owning other Axial kits. The upper links do feel a little flexy when pressure is applied from the side, HOWEVER they feel pretty rigid when you are applying force along the length of them. I don't think they would have any adverse effects on the suspension or lead to any "squishy" feeling suspension.

With all that being said, I do still plan on running some new upper links, but for one reason only..........TO ADD MORE ORANGE ;-) I will be using the Axial bent pipe links instead of the machined high clearance links. I will be using the machined high clearance links for lower links. They should all be here Tuesday today or Tuesday.
