Harley's XR10 #AX50062

On the 4PKs go to the SYSTM menu and set the display type to Trim/Dial. This way you will be able to see your mixing percentages. That is the biggest difference between the radios really.
Yea I just read that in the 4pk thread. Thanks alot for your help. "thumbsup"

I shot an email to you about wheel/foam setup with the wheels you're running. Just wondering if it you chose to narrow up the inner or outer foam with the Nova DD foams and if you're still running them. Still running 4oz in each front?

Thanks

I am actually running stock Rover foam in mine with that custom outer ring. I currently have 4 oz in them still but will likely be adding another oz per wheel. Just can't get the same plant that I was getting out of my Berg.

Thats the same issue Ive been having...the front end wants to come up a lot sooner than it should. On top of setting up these wheels I'm gonna be working on getting some weight moved around so it's lower and more towards the front...this rig just doesn't provide much room to move things around.

I'm gonna try the Nova's at full width with the firm inner and soft outer up front with the soft inners in the rear with the memory outers.

I drilled two 1/8" holes through the center of the internal ring and then through the center of the wheel for venting of each wheel...is this what you've done?

I am going to try and adjust my link geometry, I don't want to try and fix the problem by just piling more and more weight on. I had a problem making a climb this weekend that should have not been a problem, made me a little angry.

I don't drill wheels, I just vent my tires much easier.

lets see a side view of yer rig Harley!

i replaced the plastic upper links w/ STNC middle bends.

they seem approx 5mm longer than stock, and really excited me with the stance.

Here are some updated shots of my XR10 as it sits now. I replaced the lower links with Axials Orange machined high clearance links and replaced the uppers with the bent pipe links from the ARTR AX10.

It is a little heavier than I would like, about the same as my Berg actually. However it still isn't climbing like my Berg does. Still need to do some tuning to figure out why. This is with the MaxAmps 1800 pack in there which is WAY larger than I would normally run, so that is definitely accounting for a sizeable increase.

good job on the wiring diagram...easy to read. i wonder where your extra weight is coming from...im running the brxl's and trying the 4oz in each front and none in the rear. ive got a 1300 pack in mine so thats probably a little lighter but youre also running the fxr's.

The BR-XL's really aren't much heavier than a FXR. The battery is a large part of it, and all the machined links now.

i guess i never checked but youre absolutely right...looks like they're only .54 oz heavier

whats your ground clearance under the skid now?

Harley,
How are you're freq e skins holding up against rock rash?

I'm wanting to order some, but have been holding out until I see how they hold up (obviously being a sticker, they will take some abuse).

Rig looks sick with all your orange now btw!"thumbsup"

They have been holding up really well for me. I have beat the rig hard every time I have driven it and from a foot or two away the skins hardly look any worse for wear. The highest impact areas on the Hardline body aren't actually skinned so it really saves your wrap. "thumbsup"

Is it okay run short jumper wires from esc to esc that how I have setup now and it works! Thank Harley for the setup on the 4pk you saved me alot of time!!
