DONE! I just threw the panels on the scale as well, they still have the paper coating on both sides so they are a little heavier.
For Comparison
With 4 extra cross braces (2 between the shocks and 2 between the upper links).
No electronics tray, battery tray, or body mounts!

This build has me almost talked into a BJ chassis, thing is pretty boss. By the way I had that same scale and it broke in about a week.
I like it more and more every time I look at it. One thing I noticed this weekend was how nice it was to have the rear shock mounts covered. I watched another bodiless chassis get it's shock bolts caught on a rock twice in a row (two different trucks with the same chassis).
Quit standing on it! It's only good for toy trucks man!

Are they steel screws? you could drop more with alloy or Ti screws, i weighed them up a little while ago and Ti was about half the steel screw, alloy even less.. ive never broken a alloy screw (stripped plenty of heads tho:ror

I am thinking of making the switch as well. Glad I had the steel this time though as the holes in the chassis are undersized to keep a tight tolerance. Man it was a bitch threading all those in!
