Harley's XR10 #AX50062

I guess I am still missing the new rear upper link mount

Installed all the new parts from VP and Axial tonight. I thought the axle assemblies looked great before, but they don't have anything on this! Take notice of the new orange rings too!

Here is a better shot showing the gear boxes and two-tone.

I've had this thing apart a dozen time putting all these new parts on.
X2. Every time I think I'm done VP and/or others come out with more goodness.

Rigs looking good, looking to hear feedback on the new servo. May steal it at ECC:twisted::ror:

All my new Titanium links should probably be here tomorrow. I am excited to get them all fitted to the rig. I just really want to get rid of the 3mm threads on the uppers!
Are you bending them yourself?

I am getting them pre-bent. I really don't know that I have the shop to bend Ti properly.

Just for future reference... the economy bender from McMaster Carr make short work of bending Titanium links.

Its really cheap, does a really nice job and is so simple my 4 year old bends stuff on it.
Great tool to have in the arsenal"thumbsup"

BTW... Your rig is looking really good man!!!

That's a good tip, and I may have to pick one of those up in the future.

And thanks for the props on the rig.

Mails here!

The all new titanium links showed up and look good. Looking forward to getting them installed. I'm going to taper the rod ends for a smoother transition.

Those rears have a SERIOUS curve to them. I know they look great on the BJ chassis, but when you see them laying out like that they look like they would never work

They do look extreme but you have to remember they are angled so the huge curved links are actually curving from center to axle mount on the parallel plane and perpendicular plane as well, so they are not that crazy ounce installed.

shocks

I am sorry Harley if this ?? has been asked over and over again. I searched through the thread and couldn't find what shocks and springs you are running. I am guessing Big Bores 3.5" w/ ??? springs and what else special stuff are you using with them..

thanks
