Harley's XR10 #AX50062

The two tone vp is sweet. Was hoping vp would offer them like that but gave up and settled for solid color

its easy, order one color front one back, mix em up.. or trade with someone... too many combinations to possible stock

I am sorry Harley if this ?? has been asked over and over again. I searched through the thread and couldn't find what shocks and springs you are running. I am guessing Big Bores 3.5" w/ ??? springs and what else special stuff are you using with them..

thanks

Yup 3.5" Big Bores with Mini-T rear springs and the shock cap. Thinking of grabbing the Crazy Origin machined shock caps.

I hope not, I've never paid that much for links!

Got some on order myself.

Do you think they are worth it yet or haven't had a good chance for assessment?

The problem is, that once I saw them on Krawlfreaks with the BJ4 I couldn't get around not having them. :ror:

I haven't ran them yet but the complex bends help free up the suspension movement. I like that I cut weight, I will weigh the rig tonight and see where I'm sitting. May throw another couple ounces up front.

I hope to have some caps done in the next few weeks, I have been saying that for a while now, tool problems and a big workload have kept me from being able to produce any, but I think I can have some done soon. The caps seem to work well for people, I haven't received any complaints. I will hopefully be testing some composite caps soon, if they hold up it will make machining them much easier than the aluminum.

I like the idea or composite caps. I'd be interested in hearing more about that. What material?

The material was just something I had kicking around in the shop, it is very similar to delrin. If it proves to hold up pretty well I may produce some, I mainly made up the test units because the material is white and it will look nice on my white rig, but if iit proves to be durable it may be an option I will offer. The caps weigh almost nothing, I doubt they are much more than a gram or 2 each.

ECC is coming up quick. Went out and got some practice in this weekend. Feeling more and more comfortable with the truck every day.

I also handed off the truck to a local member for him to rewire it for a cleaner look. Going to place the BEC under the servo has some have done recently. I'll wire the BEC direct now due to location.

Should have the truck back tomorrow evening. "thumbsup"

Interesting. I'll try and remember to keep an ear open on those.

I have a set if you want to check them out at ECC. Let me know and i'll be sure to pack them. I opted to stick with my known bulletproof v2's for suc a large event. I'll try the plastic caps after ECC.

That's a good idea, like I said in a PM, you might not want to test the unproven caps at such a large event, I wouldn't. The plastic caps feel pretty flimsy unassembled but on the shocks they feel good, I know composites can fool you with how durable they can be, I hope these prove to be pretty tough but the verdict is still out on them. If you like what you see at ECC Harley, drop me a PM I may have some spare sets in my box of goodies"thumbsup"

Looking good sir

Thanks Mini! See you in a couple days bro 8) You're my camera man for the RCTVlive.com interviews BTW :ror:
