Harley's XR10 #AX50062

Since you're an electronics guy, can you post up your FX-R setup, front and rear. Just having some run on issues with the back motor on y XR.

Set up looks great. I love the two tone and the rims. Where are you running your links front and rear? I like where I have y so far. I run at Ted's Garage and we have a lot of break overs and such but not to much side hilling.

Thanks Mini! See you in a couple days bro 8) You're my camera man for the RCTVlive.com interviews BTW :ror:

Sounds like a plan "thumbsup" I will track down Dicky make sure to look them over.

You got it looking foward to it "thumbsup"

I will have to check and see if I have my Hotwire file saved for my setup. The FXR's are kind of a botch to get to in order to plug them in. If j have the file though I'll host it on my site and you can download it.

I haven't changed my link positions since I built it but can't recall exactly where they are right now. I will look back at some photos. I will have the truck back tonight so I can look then too.

Gave the servo a test run tonight. The speed is amazing. Absolutely incredible really. I have ran servos rated at speeds near this servo but I I've never experienced this kind of performance. I think the power really allows the speed rating to show through. I can't wait to get some serious runs on this at ECC this weekend.

What advantage does speed really offer in a crawlers? Wouldn't it just cause extra wear and strain on the moving parts? I do want to give a futaba servo a try, do you know where I could order xtra servo caps? I hate hAving that little bit of play in the servo when it gets worn in...thanks

New servo and you can also see a sliver of the BEC installed under the servo.

While he was busy installing my servo and wiring the BEC into the system Fat Jesus also made me some spring cups on his new lathe. He made these out of some sort of wire retainer I believe. He said they cost about $.69 each!! Nice huh!

Slow servos are terrible. I can't stand the feeling of lag. Wear? I can't understand where you are would be assuming that from. Just because it turns faster I don't see why it would make you turn it more times or anything like that.

Servo caps? Do you mean the top case? You can get them through hobby services. I got a new one after breaking an ear off once. I have never felt any slop in any of my servos.

Maybe I'm just cheap and don't replace my servos often enough. If I had a picture of the wear I'm talking Bout I would post it... ill have to give this ultra fast servo a try

It was a busy night! Got everything charged and packed ready for ECC. so now tonight I can still go out for tacos and beer! Did a quick nut and bolt check aswell so should be able to just bolt the wheels back on and roll.

I am thinking about handcuffing my 4PK case to my wrist..... For dramatic effect going through airport security  I am meeting up with SuperDave and Falloout in ATL and then we are all riding up to Gadsden with Fish and crew.

I'll be posting pictures and video throughout the weekend both here and on the Facebook link in my signature.
