I tried to take my rx apart, but felt like I was going to break it as I pried on the case. So I gave up.

Haha, yup Bad Attitude actually gave them to me. He says he just asks for them after he goes in for his visits.

Well, think about it this way:
You can have the clean look and still have the antenna in there
Or
You can have the same look but without the safety net of having the additional range.
In the end I have never had a problem running without one but why risk it when I can still have all the advantages.
Well this weekend is the Losi Central States Challenge, hosted by the NSCA in Omaha Nebraska (my old home town). This is their first regional outdoor comp and they have expanded their outdoor crawling facility in anticipation for it. Myself and about a half dozen local KCRC members are going up to compete with them for this event. I'll be driving up Friday night along with a few others. I'll be doing some updates throughout this weekend on the event 8)

After the last couple times crawling I realized I do still want a little more weight up front. I was going to put a couple ounces of lead in the wheels but instead I am going to switch to the VP knuckle weights which will allow me to run a little heavier without any extra wheel weight. Plus it will give me a little more bling.
Running my SSZ's with 475 hubs, this will allow me to go up to 6.17oz of weight per side, which is a little under 2oz heavier per side. I am happy with that as a starting point. I will try that and see if I want add any additional weight.

The last piece of my upgrade list for this week is the VP rear upper link mount. Again, this will be a silver mount with orange upper bracket just like I have up front.

I'm looking forward to it as well. I am doing the MRC Pro Nationals. $100 to enter and you get a MRC Pro that you have to run in the event. Pretty sweet deal.

I'll probably sell these as a whole set. Fat Jesus want them I think.

We are driving up to Omaha tonight and I'll start wrenching when we arrive. Shouldn't take too long. I can't wait to bolt up these weights. The machining is amazing. It's hard to compete with this level of detail.

Yea, I got my VP brass knux yesterday they are sweet. With .475 hubs on my slw's I can get 6.2oz of knuckle weight on each side now. "thumbsup"
The extra 3.4 oz's is what I am most ready for. This delivery pretty much rounds this truck out now. There isn't anything else I can think of that I want for it other than possibly switching to Chaotics Links. I really like the look of his bends.

I would love to fit that much weight on my knuckles, but I just can't get myself to run that wide of a hub in the front!
