Type of bumper? Well thats up to the owner. I can knock out any style for you. Show me some pics and give me the dimensions. "thumbsup" I just dont really care for plastic armor.
IMO the second one listed with a bit more detail work would be rad. Most of the ones listed are nice, but are cookie cutter mass produced items. The second one catches my eye because it is mounted tight and high. Gives you a bit more clearance. Let me know.;-)
I agree, but that is up to you. I feel that I have a good name on our beloved forum and love the hobby to much to taint that. Also I do stuff like this out of the love of our hobby not for profit. Finally I oversee a 3 county alternative sentencing program for the court system. My boss's are circuit judges. Like I said your call. I'm just trying to offer help to a fellow scale addict. "thumbsup" P.S I have plenty of chromoly.;-)
Definitely not a question of trusting you. It's a question of can i love without my beautiful FJ for the few weeks I'm guessing it would take. Hahahaha!
Worked on fj Saturday. I put an Sv3 in with ccbec and cs170 servo and a Holmes Hobbies 10t puller. It has a 17t pinion and could go to 20tooth and still be slow enough to have a precise crawl. I also hard mounted the front bumper nice n secure. It's getting ready for a weekend in the desert this weekend!
Well looks like rain will not let us play like we had planned. But i did a bunch of little detail touches to the eff jay today.
Painted then letters white
Trying non some new shoes. Not sure how I feel about them. I bought them for my LJ project coming up but eff jay is gonna borrow them till I get my LJ back.
Tinkered with the rear shocks to get a tad more flex out of them.
Got a 1:10 scale jerry can and holder
And solid mounted the body and front bumper finally
Thanks dude! It's my spring break starting tomorrow is supposed to hit 55* (finally we are out of the 40*s haha) so I'm definitely taking eff jay out. Probably to lil moab. Look for pics and maybe a video
