fleet of over 100 production form Camaros sitting in a lot at the GM Oshawa plant! It has not yet been confirmed where these cars are headed. The best guess is probably to dealerships as test drive/display vehicles. Lack of stripes and other options/upgrades suggest this.

getting closer, i cant wait. i hope the economy stays shitty so i can pick up a SS for a steal.:lol:

I was told by my old Tier 1 supplier contacts that the SS's stripes were applied after final fit and assembly, so these are waiting that treatment.

Personally I like the Challenger's lines more but it does look good. Wonder how many GM sells before they declare bancruptcy.

hell yea, i'm all over the challenger, in hugger orange as if there was any other color. unless it came lime green with flat black stripes, then i would be torn.
my wife on the other hand really likes the camaro in blue.

we are going to wait till the new camaro is out and see what the SS coupe will do on a test drive as opposed to the SRT8.
we will decide then.

well ive always bought my camaros for 1 reason, whats under the hood. not for the styling, or cheap interiors.
and the stock 5th gen is damn near 2 seconds faster in the quarter than the hemi challenger. thats rediculous. that challenger is a tank. not to mention the aftermarket parts that will available for the camaro.

i do admit the production challenger, does look better than the production 5th gen though"thumbsup"

i was refering to the fact,that hugger orange was a GM color, i could be wrong though. google search did pop up refering to a challenger and hugger orange though. no pics of a hugger orange challenger though.



on a seperate note SRT challengers are running 13.6(pro driver/motor trend)-13.8(normal drivers/forums) stock.
the new V6 camaro (300 hp) was tested with two GM techs in the car and ran a 13.8.... this is unconfirmed though. the SS with a normal guy driving will run high 12s.

Sounds like someone is lying, no stock SS has ever run 2 seconds faster than the 09 SRT8 Challenger; the one with the Hemi.

Hell the SS is actually SLOWER than the SRT8

2009 Challenger SRT8:
Horsepower: 425hp
Weight: 4146lbs
0-60: 4.6 seconds
1/4 mile: 13.1 @ 108.3mph

2010 Camaro:
Horsepower: 422hp :roll:
Weight: 4160lbs :roll:
