HengGuan Mercedes G63 6x6 Review

The stock motor is 27 turn. I'm planning on putting a brushless system in mine.

Thx, I think I'm going to try my RC4WD 35T, geared up a little and/or my old Titan 12T w/ XL5, geared way down to see how they compare. I'd like to have a little more speed on 2S without going too crazy..

Hi,
Use Brushless is no too much risk to destroy the transmission with so increased power?

Just do the bearing upgrades. It's all metal gearing and should be ok as long as not too much speed/torque applied.

The gears I feel are no so good metal. Let's hope I'm wrong
You changed all the bearings?

Yes. I run all bearings. All bushings have been removed. I ran a 3350kv for a bit but was snapping drive shafts on any kind of bind. Gears held up fine.

got mine from here Air toy - Small Orders Online Store, Hot Selling and more on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group no issue and fast enough on the shipping extra 20 on pick up. the body is ugly and I am going to through it in the trash . I will build a custom Zetros body on mine. ordered the new metal frame rails from the same company all free shipping and no annoying us customs yep true free trade. have had the truck out a few times it is as all RTR trucks Ready To Rebuild. I have no complaints about the truck so far

I say it's fair value for the money. It's not an amazing rig but it's great for showing off to the neighbours kids. There's a lot of improvements that could be made but it works as it is.

well upgrades
metal rail
metal motor base
metal front and rear cross members
narrowed rear axels
dual wheels on the rear
custom Mercedes body
still working on this one

I just go one of these and have to say that all I have done so far is change the spur gear to a Hpi wheely King. It worked as good as a 150(what I paid for mine) rig should work. I got it so I could test the waters of owning a 6x6. I'll let you guys check it out. I'm converting it to be a flat bed truck.

Been looking at the p402 then I came across this thread and really considering the p601, and remove the second rear axle and such for parts as i want to make a bobbed deuce and half with a truck cab. Like a f150 or silverado. Something like this 1:1 I found.
